new inspiration [Feb. 19th, 2008|11:27 pm] for my environmental art class we have to do a large environmental work. I've had an idea for awhile, and then I started reading about Kathryn Miller . Here past works are very much in tuned with what I had been thinking about. I am very excited to research more, maybe talk with her, and plan out a work in April. link post comment

if you ride bikes [Feb. 13th, 2008|10:10 pm] so, my sister does iron man and bikes everyday to train for it. She recently moved down to Alabama and soon after she was hit by a car this is the car that hit her this what her bike looked like and this is what she looked like in the hospital she broke a vertebrae in her back and had to wear a metal neck brace for two weeks, but is up and walking again. So I know bike riding is fun, but since so many people I care about also care about bikes, please be careful link 10 comments|post comment

my critique [Nov. 25th, 2007|05:47 pm] After having eaten at both Kingdom of Vegetarians and New Harmony several times in the past few months, I feel I am able to give an accurate critique. (positives only) New Harmony - good when they have their parties. More experimental dishes you wouldn't find at the average chinese restaurant (good for when you tire from the norm) Kingdom - friendlier service and allow you to take your $10 all-you-can-eat dim sum home (a great big plus). Have cold sesame noodles (another big plus). I think from now on I will be going to Kingdom and only visiting New Harmony for their big celebration meals. anyone else want to voice opinions? link 2 comments|post comment
